Becca & Mike – Rocky Mountain National Wildlife Refuge Engagement

Becca & Mike have one of the sweetest love stories! They met in fifth grade and rekindled their friendship in high school. Becca would wait an hour and a half for Mike to get off work before venturing off on mini adventures in order to spend as much time together as possible.

Mike finally worked up the courage to ask her out on their first official date. This was followed by a sushi date three months later in which he asked her to be his girlfriend via a fortune cookie.

Last October, Mike and Becca planned an eleven day road trip across Ireland. While visiting the Cliffs of Moher, Mike pulled out another fortune cookie. This time, it said “Will you be my Wife?”

Becca obviously said yes!

Becca & Mike spend quite a bit of time each year volunteering at Renaissance Festivals, so we found it only fitting that they wore their costumes for their engagement session! Colorado gave us it’s best impression of Irish weather, complete with cloudy skies and crazy wind, but their infectious laughs were present the whole time!

Planning your engagement session in January can come with tricky weather, but it’s worth it EVERY. SINGLE. TIME!
